"Lynne Franks is one of the most inspiring women in the UK today. I truly admire her desire to promote an authentic approach to business that is both nurturing and supportive to others and the world we live in. Her ability to maintain spiritual values through a leadership role is both inspiring and an essential quality for the future of humankind. I thoroughly enjoyed my week in Deia, both as a participant on the retreat and during our free time photographing Goddess portraits for fellow 'Bloomers'. Connecting with such a diverse group of women was such a blessing, to share the full moon around the fire and close the circle on 11.11.11 was the highlight one of the most powerful weeks of my life."

Lynne Franks is a business woman, lifestyle guru and author who has inspired women across the world with her motivational books, talks and workshops. She is the founder of SEED, a global network to empower women economically based on spiritual and holistic principles for a sustainable future.

VOICE OF A WOMAN (VOW) will launch online on 25th November 2011 - International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. VOW Magazine will bring news and information from and about women worldwide, with stories from the most populated cities to the remotest regions of our world.

Our mission is to build awareness, empower women and galvanize support for the global campaign to end violence in all its forms against women and girls.

VOW has been given generous support by the Foreign Press Association, Getty Images, Associated Press, Amnesty International, The Royal Commonwealth Society, Global: International Briefing, along with individual journalists, photojournalists, documentarians, writers, artists and scholars. Together we aim to use media to generate a greater awareness of the experiences of women and girls whose voices go unheard, by providing a space for the ‘voice of a woman.’
